Someone reading poetry from a book on a table laden with flowers and cup of tea

At Accent, we have started to think about how we can make our communications more accessible to customers who struggle to read and write, or who speak English as a second language.

Some of our documents have been translated into ‘easy-read’ to help with this process. We’d like your feedback on the documents that we’ve produced to determine whether this is helpful. Anyone can take part in this project, regardless of their circumstances.

We’d like your thoughts on one of the documents we have already had translated into ‘easy-read’ format. We’d like to know:

    • If and when Accent should provide documents in easy-read format?
    • How would you feel if you received a document like this?
    • Which particular customer groups do you think would benefit from documents in easy-read format?
